City Church Eastside will be hosting a marriage conference on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at the Hilan. The conference will not only be for those married but also for non-married individuals—we believe it’s important to invest in everyone on what a healthy, godly marriage is intended to look like.  Early bird registration has already started and will continue until December 21st.  To register and learn more, please click the button below.

With a M.Div. and M.A. in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary, Kerstin's passion is to train as many leaders as possible to lead as many women as possible to experience holistic transformation by engaging Scripture and storytelling in the context of spiritual formation grous. Holistic transformation is spiritual (vertical to God), personal (to self) and relational (horizontal to others). The goal is to grow as a disciple of Christ within a community where we value to the story of Scripture and the story that God has written and continues to write in our own life.

While not originally from Atlanta, Scott spent much of his youth here before returning with his wife, Kerstin, to start City Church-Eastside.  He is a graduate of Furman University (B.S., Political Science) and Reformed Theological Seminary (Masters in Christian Thought, Masters in Divinity, Masters in Counseling).  He enjoys reading, cooking, travel, playing real football (soccer) and staying fit.

Scott and Kerstin have been married since 2000 and are raising three beautiful girls in the Candler Park neighborhood.  Scott is always up for a conversation about the church and community over a libation of your choice.

Kristen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Christian Sex Therapist who has counseled couples since 2005. Originally in corporate sales and marketing, Kristen discovered a passion for counseling after volunteering overseas to help rehabilitate girls coming out of sexual slavery. Kristen's passion soon turned into a second career in counseling to help individuals and couples find greater intimacy in their relationships. Kristen and her husband, Reid, have two daughters. Kristen closed the doors of her daily private practice last year as they welcomed their second daughter. She feels privileged to continue to share her passion through teaching and workshops.
