Ash Wednesday Service
We invite you to join us the evening of February 17th at 6:30 as we worship together for Ash Wednesday. This historic day marks the beginning of our journey in Lent. Utilizing the traditional imposition of ashes, the service will help us wade into this season of contemplation as we reflect on our sin and Jesus' victory over our sin. Click here to reserve seats.
We will have limited in-person attendance available for Ash Wednesday, as well as our usual livestream options. For those that are comfortable, the imposition of ashes will be available, for those that are not, you will have the option to exit without receiving them.

For Christmas Eve this year, we will have one service at 5pm that is both in person (limited to 70 people) and online. Click here to reserve seats! Park Cleanup
Join us for a park clean up on Saint Charles 11/14 from 9am to 12pm across the street from the church! We'll have coffee in the morning and lunch for you!
We will spend time bagging leaves, pulling weeds, and other potential clean up that is needed on the corner lot. If you have rakes bring them! Looking forward to seeing everyone out there! Please RSVP here by November 5th.

Forum on Race
Please join us Sunday night, November 8th, from 7-9 PM, as we hold a conversation around race, ethnicity, culture, and the Bible. Joining us will be David Kennebrew, Sr. Pastor of Freedom Fellowship Church (Atlanta), and Ali Chambers, Sr. Pastor of Mosaic Church (Memphis). After panel speakers share some remarks, the congregation will be invited to participate in a Q & A. Sign up here!

Utilizing the LifeKeys Assessment, Discover Your Design looks at an individual through five distinct lenses, helping them discover their personality, values, talents, gifts, and passions. Each participant will come away with a greater sense of their unique identity. This is a two-session class held October 24th and 25th, 1-5pm. Contact Ed Burdette for more information and to sign up. Easter Sunday Worship Services

Easter Dresses for the Eastside!
Easter Dresses will take place this year on Saturday, April 4, 2020. This will be the 7th consecutive year CCE will be serving the little girls of the Forest Cove Housing Community in SE Atlanta in conjunction with the mission efforts of the Atlanta Dream Center. There will be opportunity for our volunteers to make over 75 little girls very happy at Easter through their creativity, volunteerism and monetary support. We’re heading to SharpTop Cove YoungLife Camp in 2020! More details to come, but for now, mark your calendars! This will be a weekend not to miss!

CPR Training
We are offering an Infant-12 grade CPR Certification on March 22nd for anyone that is at least 14 years old. The cost will be $10 for anyone that will be receiving the certification. We would love to see as many City Church volunteers as possible attend this training! We will be offering childcare and lunch directly following the service and the class will run from 1-3. Dinner with Women
We women will be gathering in homes for dinner on March 13th! Five women will be randomly placed with a host to enjoy dinner and conversation for an evening, a great way to meet other women at CCE! All you need to do is email kerstin@citychurcheastside.org to RSVP your commitment to attend and/or confirm if you would like to host. The host sets the main course and those attending bring a side. Kerstin will be in touch to confirm if you are needed to host and will let everyone know where they are going for dinner. Deadline to sign up is March 8th.

Sandwiches in the Park!
Sandwiches and games in the park! Stay after service on March 1st and enjoy sandwiches, lemonade and fellowship in the park across the street from City Church! Please bring your own camp chairs as no seating provided. In case of inclement weather, lunch will be provided in the sanctuary.

True Justice Documentary Screening
In honor of Black History Month, the Mercy and Justice team is looking forward to bringing an educational opportunity to our community. Many of you might be familiar with the movie and book Just Mercy. We will be viewing the documentary True Justice: Bryan Stevenson's Fight for Equality which follows his struggle to create greater fairness in the system and shows how racial injustice emerged, evolved and continues to threaten the country, challenging viewers to confront it.
Come enjoy some drinks and food while we watch this documentary and engage in thoughtful conversations about racial injustice and how God gives value to all of us. Please invite a friend or neighbor. Also make sure to RSVP by clicking here.
