Sundays at City Church-Eastside happen because people like you give their time and gifts. Whether you love kids, play an instrument, or want to greet people at the door, there’s a place for you here.
City Kids
Love and teach our kids, from the nursery to 5th grade.
Classroom Teacher: Works directly with the kids
Leadership Floater: Greets parents, assists as needed in classes, and helps with administrative tasks
Person on Call: Opens and closes City Kids area, leads prayer and announcements, contacts late or missing volunteers, and walks Faithfulness class to/from the offices.
3+ months attending and a background check required
Hospitality
Help newcomers feel at home and our church family stay connected.
Prayer and Scripture Reader
Communion: Serve communion and/or pray for others during the service
Usher: Welcome people and help with the tithes and offerings
Coffee: Prepare the coffee
Open to anyone 13 or older
Worship
Lead the church in song and keep the room running behind the scenes.
Worship Leader and Vocals
Worship Band
Tech Booth: Sound and Computer
Musicians: please share a video when you sign up

Fill out the form
Select the position(s) you would like to volunteer for. Click “Sign up to volunteer” to fill out the form. It takes about 3 minutes.
Complete additional steps
Some areas have a background check or audition. We will notify you if this is the case.
Get on the schedule
Set any blackout dates in Church Center. We’ll add you to the team and schedule.
*Note: Once scheduled please find someone to swap or substitute if you cannot serve.
