Mike Boland, Pastor of Spiritual Formation
Mike grew up in South Carolina in a children’s home called Thornwell. Mike then received a football scholarship from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina that enabled him to go to college. After graduating, Mike worked for Campus Outreach for the next seven years. In 2009, Mike, Jennifer and their 3 year old daughter, moved to Florida to attend seminary at RTS Orlando. During seminary he worked for a PCA church plant in Downtown Orlando and added three more children to their family. In 2013, Mike, Jennifer and their four kids; Avery (their only girl), Keller, Graham and Lincoln moved to Atlanta to join the City Church-Eastside community. As a family, the Bolands love their neighborhood (Reynoldstown) and enjoy gathering with friends and neighbors around the dinner table to swap stories. Mike enjoys playing most sports, meeting new people, and journeying with people as they investigate questions of faith.
